Pentek GAC-20 155111-43 20" Granular Activated Carbon Filter

This Pentek GAC-20 carbon filter cartridge reduces chlorine taste and odor in residential and commercial drinking water. It will reduce free available chlorine (FAC) at 2 PPM by at least 75% in up to 10,000 Gal. at a flow rate of 2 GPM. The cartridge is made granular activated carbon (GAC) filter media encased in polystyrene with a spun polypropylene post filter. The nitrile butadiene rubber (Buna-N) and Santoprene (TPE, thermoplastic elastomer) gaskets seal the cartridge against the housing (sold separately). The cartridge has an initial pressure drop of 16.0 psi at a flow rate of 2 GPM, and operates over a temperature range of 40° to 125°F (4.4° to 51.7°C). This carbon filter cartridge is for treatment of residential and commercial drinking water.
